Tuberculosis (TB) Services
TB skin testing is offered for $20 daily, except Thursday for high-risk individuals. You must return within 48-72 hours to have the test read by DCPH medical staff, or you will be required to retest.
DCPH provides testing, counseling, and treatment of all reported positive Tuberculosis cases within Denton County. Treatment of positive reactors and case contacts is by appointment only in both Denton and Lewisville.
Tuberculosis disease (active) and Tuberculosis infection (latent) are both mandatory reportable conditions per Texas Administrative Code, Title 25, Part 1, Chapter 97, Subchapter A. Tuberculosis disease must be reported within 1 business day. LTBI or Tuberculosis infection must be reported within 1 week. DCPH provides treatment of positive reactors and case contacts.
